This was part of the original Ventfort Hall estate. On the grounds of Berkshire Cottages there were a gatehouse and one or more houses for important staff. This was the Gardener’s’ Cottage. The purpose of this project is to restore the relationship between it and the Main House. Ventfort Hall will then include the stables, the gatehouse, and the gardener’s cottage so that the visitor can envision what the grounds were originally like.
