Educated at The Peddie School and Cornell University, in 1972, Mr. Schroeter founded Atlantis Equipment Corp - metal fabricating and steel erection. Atlantis continues, but semi-retired, Mr. Schroeter has turned toward charitable work serving on Boards including BPI.
Nelson Furlano, Clerk
Mr. Furlano received his degree from Bentley College and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Now retired, Mr. Furlano is active in in many nonprofits including BPI
David Carver, member
Real estate developer David Carver is the king of adaptive reuse. For more that forty years,. Mr. Carver has turned old buildings into new housing, new offices, and much more. He began as a Naval civil engineer, and Berkshire County and BPI are both lucky to have him.
Wende Scarafoni Carver, member
Mrs. Carver is a dedicated community leader, philanthropist, and business owner alongside her husband, David. She finds time for extensive charitable work and is a passionate advocate for health and wellness, she co-founded a regional non-profit organization in 2006 dedicated to support to individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis. Mrs Carver serves on the board of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, as a Vice President on the Berkshire Theatre Group board, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Foundation, and as a board member of the newly formed non profit Berkshire Preservation Inc.
Todd Ehrlich, member
Mr. Ehrlich founded T-Line-TV, a television production company, three decades ago. He has received 22 Emmy nominations, received 5 Emmys, and more than 100 national and international awards. Mr. Ehrlich wrote The 20 Greatest Moments in New York Sports and won 4 awards including Author of the Year - Impact Award and 3 others.. He is an impassioned supporter of the Koman Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer) and T2T (Tunnel to Towers Victims of 911)
Michelle Page Schroeter, member
Married to Louis Schroeter in 1980. They have two sons, Bradford D. and Christian Paul. Michelle was former office manager at Atlantis Equipment, licensed horse groomer, certified health care giver working at nursing homes, and operated a wildlife supply store in Williamstown, MA. Michelle’s interests are birds, wildlife, British and American history. Currently, Michelle manages the staff at Deerlawn, the family residence in Williamstown.
